                    • Description: Southwick Hall on UVM's Redstone Campus, current home of the Music Department but originally built to accommodate women's activities. Built in 1935 in memory of Mable Louise Southwick, UVM '05, this neo-Federal style, two-story building was funded in part by Mable's parents and the federal Public Works Administration. If this photo was taken in 1960, the scaffolding was for renovation, not construction.
