- Description: Sept. 1, 1929 date photo. Colchester Ave. looking upgrade from the intersection of Chase Street just before starting construction of new concrete pavement. Note the roughness of the old surface treated waterbound macadam pavement, also irregular curb and gutter on the right and old trolley track rails on the left where new curb and gutter is to be constructed in order to widen the pavement.
