Original caption reads: This view shows the Snow King Rotary Snow Loader mounted on Walter Snow Fighter truck loading snow from the street into a 10 cubic yard truck body. One of these truck loads is loaded in approximately 3/4 of a minute. An average fall of 6 inches of snow will require the hauling of approximately 250 loads of snow from the business streets.

                      • Description: Photograph dated Sept. 18, 1940. St. Paul Street Asphalt Paving Project looking northerly at the intersection of Spruce Street. This view shows the newly constructed integral curb and gutter on the easterly side of St. Paul Street which extended around the curve in front of Smalley Park to the intersection of Adams Street. The workmen are just completing the construction of the asphalt binder course on which will be constructed immediately a two inch wearing course.
