A large sign overhead reads "Ye Olde Burlington Home 1773 - 1923". Location is 342 Pearl Street, Burlington, built in 1800 by and home of Horace Loomis. The Klifa Club is a women's club founded in 1900. The name means "to climb" and is an Icelandic word. Members meet twice a month for luncheons and have guest speakers.
