Marion came to St. Anthony's in 1940. The 10-year-old school soon had a bus, a hot lunch program, and, at the insistence of the Quebecois pastor, offered French for an hour a day starting with 3rd graders.

The occasion must be the sacrament of Confirmation, since the students appear to be at that age. The church is on the left; the parish rectory, on the right; and the school is behind the church. The church cornerstone is dated 1902, and the rectory was built the same year.
