            • Description: Undated photo (may be 1929 or early 1930s) with a view of College Street with City Hall Park to the right looking east. Retail businesses line both sides. To the left is the E. S. Adsit Coal Company at No. 154 College, Turk's clothing store at No. 156-158. In the center of the photo on the corner of the building is a sign for Bailey's Music Rooms (its address is 159-161 Bank Street). Further to the right a sign reads Wright's. Center distance is the steeple of the College Street Congregational Church.

                  • Description: April 13, 1934. P.W.A. Sewer Project Docket No. 2353. South Park This view shows a section of Hayward Street Sewer looking north. Note unusual height of manhole construction occasioned by ravine intersecting sewer main at this point. This manhole was reinforced and protected on both sides by cribbing made of old railroad ties and anchored with rubble and extra fill from sewer trench.
