                  • Description: The steamer ferry Chateaugay on Lake Champlain. Automobiles can be seen on deck. Originally built in 1888 the steamboat Chateaugay was the first iron hulled steamboat on Lake Champlain. Serving the Champlain Transportation Company for 51 years. Notations on the photo suggest it was used for publication. Undated but may be 1920s, 1930s.
