Engraved above the main entrance "Ecole Nazareth 1929." The school was renamed St. Joseph School in 1961, after another Burl. by the same name had closed, thereby ending any potential name confusion.

- Description: 1946 photo of the Strong Building, home of Strong Hardware Co. and the Strong Theatre, as well as Brown's Pharmacy and ice cream shop. Date on the building is 1902. The marquee reads: Abbott and Costello: "The Naughty Nineties," with Alan Curtis. (The movie came out in 1945.) The building was destroyed by arson in 1970, and rubble at the site was used to help build the Burlington bike path.

- Description: Campers, staff and Sisters of Mercy nuns line the front porch and stairs of the main building of Camp Marycrest and enjoy a meal. Note real tea cups are being used. Most folks wear sweaters or jackets. Could this be an end of season gathering? The camp was for girls and operated from 1957 to 1993 by the Sisters of Mercy located in Grand Isle, Vermont. Undated but may be 1950s or 1960s.
