- Description: Marble Island (Lake Champlain Club?) Colchester, VT. Three quarter side view of a two story clapboard house with an open porch at entry and an enclosed porch on the upper story. It has a pitched roof with a central chimney. Square porch columns on the main level. An apparently discarded old fashion ice box has been placed on the porch. Many tall trees are on the property and rain has the driveway and surrounding grounds wet and muddy.

- Description: May 25, 1942. Hayward Street Improvements Project. This view is taken from the intersection of Howard St. looking northerly to the intersection of Marble Ave. The excavation of the old pavement was partially done last winter and completed this month after which the sand cushion and telford stone base was constructed and the penetration course of chestnut stone has been spread over the telford base and roughly graded ready for rolling with the 15 ton steam roller. Note the condition of the old curbs which will be reset or replaced as the condition warrants.
