Dear Madam:- Your second letter asking for special favors in
relation to ratifying the federal Suffrage Amendment at hand.


In reply I will say I did all I could at the last session
of the Legislature and voted for the amendment as I was pledged.


t feel at this writing that an effort to call a special
session would not meet the approval of the Governor or the State
at large. t remain at your service when the proper time arrives.
