					<l>My dear Mother:</l>
<l>I am so glad to get yours of the 9th, which in-</l>
					<l>dicates that you are better.</l>
<l>Yesterday I wrote you from the Senate lobby</l>
<l>longhand. I hope it did not wear your eyes out</l>
					<l>to read it.</l>
<l>I have put you on the list for the Congressional</l>
<l>Record. You can throw it away if it does not</l>
<l>interest you. Of course, there may be times</l>
<l>when the Record will afford you information, and</l>
<l>some interest. Anyhow, it can do you no harm except</l>
<l>the trouble of disposing of it.</l>
<l>Ros left last night, and is probably in St. Albans</l>
					<l>this morning.</l>
					<l>Love from us both.</l>
					<l>Your affectionate son,</l>
					<l>Mrs. C.G.Austin,</l>
					<l>91 South Main Street,</l>
					<l>St. Albans, Vermont.</l>
