Dear Mother:
I have had no chance to see a Messenger
which covered the Nally at St. Albans. I wonder
if you can send me your copy of it?
It seems like a crushing blow to the
country to have Hoover fired. Nevertheless, the
wide-spreed resentment against hard times was so
deep seated that if he had been reelected we
probably would have had manifestatiens of this re-
sentment after election.
They have had their own way now and
the critics and protestants are more likely to be
contented and give us peace. For this we can be
grateful.
