My Dear Mother-
If you will refer to pages
3599 to 3605 of the
Congressional Record of
yesterday- Monday the 6th-
you will find the debate
which routed the enemy
and gained an amendment
to the Economy Bill
which saved Agricultural
Colleges, Extension Sevices,
and Vocational Education.
This was an important
protection from attack
by those who have
opposed this type of
education for years.
