					<l>My Dear Mother-</l>
					<l>A filibuster is being</l>
					<l>[ ] by the Senators from</l>
					<l>the South to prevent consideration</l>
					<l>of the anti-lynching Bill.  We</l>
					<l>have to stay here and suffer</l>
					<l>for fear that a roll call may</l>
					<l>occur in our absence.</l>
					<l>Sen. Glass came in and asked</l>
					<l>me what was going on and</l>
					<l>I replied &quot;more bank from</l>
					<l>Bankhead&quot; and he retorted</l>
					<l>&quot;You mean Blockhead&quot;- Sen.</l>
					<l>Bankhead has the floor.</l>
