					<l>Copy</l>
					<l>March 25, 1937</l>
					<l>My dear Mother:</l>
<l>I have neglected you, but you have been</l>
<l>in my mind daily, as usual.</l>
<l>I did not give you longer notice of the</l>
					<l>radio broadcast because I have been ex-</l>
					<l>tremely busy since I learned that I was</l>
<l>to make it, which was only last night.</l>
<l>The hearings in our Judiciary Committee</l>
<l>call for intensive work, and the giving</l>
<l>of the necessary attention to testimony</l>
<l>is really exhausting. I try to classify it</l>
<l>and estimate it as it comes in because the</l>
<l>volume of it is very great. The transcript</l>
					<l>has already reached 1700 pages.</l>
<l>Best love from Mildred and me.</l>
					<l>Your loving son,</l>
					<l>Mrs. C. G. Austin,</l>
