United States Senate Washington, D.C. Apr. 5, 1937. My Dear Mother: I hope you are well and happy this morning.  It is raining here and the cherry buds are swelling.  They  will bloom Thursday. The Senate is all ragged up over the sit-down strikes.  Our judiciary Committee hearings progress with Democratic and Liberal witnesses doing the talking. It is assuring to  Conservatives to find allies there for any cause.  But they are with us on the Court question! Best love- Warren-
