My Dear Mother:
This morning we have
the disgusting situation
of the Sec. of Agriculture
publishing to the world
that this Bill which the
Special Session has
worked on for more than
a week, would be
inadequate and contains
important features to
which he objects. This
reflects the disorder that
exists undercover in the
administration.
The bill ought to go
back to the committee
and this Special Session
ought to immediately
remove the surplus tax
and capital gains tax
so that consumers of
agricultural products
can be increased in
number and demand
by the stimulation of business
and reemployment of labor-
