Senate Chamber Feb. 23, 1938 My Dear Mother: I have just finished debating the Relief Bill. I offered some amendments to the Bailey amendment which were accepted. The Bill appropriates  $250 millions and we are trying to make the States contribute as much as they can to their own relief. VT. has always done it. Love, Warren
