United States Senate Washington, D.C. Feb. 25, 1938. My Dear Mother: Sen. Norris is talking about his sacred cow the T.V.A. so I have a moment to say "hello" to you- The business before us is the Bill for Appropriations to the Executive Office and sundry executive bureaus, boards, commissions and offices.  It carries about a billion and a half dollars. Government is expensive! I don't like to vote for some of the items, but our position is forced by expediency- Love- Warren.
