from Wisconsin. I guess you
received some too. It is
lovely to hear from him.
I leave here on Montrealler
and get to Burlington tomorrow.
Will call you up before
going into session of the
Board of Trustees of the
University.
During the luncheon I expect
to broadcast a message
from the alumni to
Pres. Bailey who is confined
to his house.
Just a few moments
ago the Senate voted
down my amendment
to accelerate industrial
production for national
defense.
If we are united we
must unite on Roosevelt
policy- Terrible!!
