What a day!
Sen. Gibson died at 8.30 A.M.
This is Edwards 30th birthday.
I have attended to funeral
party arrangements. Visited
the Gibson family twice.
Attended committee on Immigration
and conference between
House & Senate on a Military
Bill-
Made a eulogy on my
colleague in the Senate/
Attended my duties as
Senator on the floor and
Asst. Minority Leader.
Been to the Naval Hospital
for treatment of sinuses-
Written many letters.
Received many callers.
Done some packing and
moving and am now
going to the Mayflower
at 6.45 P.M.
What a day!
