Senate Chamber Sept. 26, 1940. My Dear Mother: I think we will finish consideration of the Civil Service Bill today, call the Calendar tomorrow and recess over Saturday and Sunday.  If the weather permits I will fly home tomorrow night.  Will call you up, and may driveup to see you. I am studying a new Nation- ality Code which may be considered before we get thro' the 76th Congress. The longer we stay, the more we have to do. Best love, Warren
