Dearest Mother:
I shall probably debate the air mail Monday. The
Record will show it.
If you will refer to pages 7217-19 and 7227 of
yesterday's Record, you will find some interpo-
lations.
Also, I am sure you will be interested in the
fact - which is very unusual - that a Democrat-
in fact, the Democratic Whip, Senator Lewis, of
Chicago, had entered in the Appendix of the
Record, p. 7322, my address delivered before the
Vermont Bar Association October 2, 1933, and he
made some very kind comments about it. I think
that, if this could be called to the attention of
Selden Watson, it might interest him.
