<l>COPY</l>
<l>April 21, 1934</l>
<l>Dearest Mother:</l>
<l>I shall probably debate the air mail Monday. The</l>
<l>Record will show it.</l>
<l>If you will refer to pages 7217-19 and 7227 of</l>
<l>yesterday's Record, you will find some interpo-</l>
<l>lations.</l>
<l>Also, I am sure you will be interested in the</l>
<l>fact - which is very unusual - that a Democrat-</l>
<l>in fact, the Democratic Whip, Senator Lewis, of</l>
<l>Chicago, had entered in the Appendix of the</l>
<l>Record, p. 7322, my address delivered before the</l>
<l>Vermont Bar Association October 2, 1933, and he</l>
<l>made some very kind comments about it. I think</l>
<l>that, if this could be called to the attention of</l>
<l>Selden Watson, it might interest him.</l>
<l>Your loving son,</l>
<l>Mrs. Chauncey G. Austin,</l>
<l>91 South Main Street,</l>
<l>St. Albans, Vermont.</l>
