United States Senate Washington Mar. 28, 1938 My Dear Mother: Very sorry to learn of the passing of Mary Manger. Sen. Tydings of Marland is making a good speech against the Reorganization Bill.  The mail and telegraph pressure this morning was strong against the Bill.  We think that the proponents have a small majority agan for the bill- Since writing above Sen. Green of Rhode Island has taken the floor for the Bill.  He is talking politics- about "our leader"!! A sample of maple sugar has come from Rock of Ages.  Have not had time to open it yet. I suppose Mildred is in the gallery. There is much interest shown by the crowds.  Thank you for clipping- Love, Warren
