August 10, 1931. Looking south on South Winooski Ave. from the intersection of Pearl Street. Mounds of dirt lay on the greenbelt (tree belt) on the left side as road work is conducted by the Burlington Street Dept. On the left through the trees is the First Congregational Church on So. Winooski. To the extreme right is the Bombard barber shop at the corner.
