1929 dated photo. College Street looking east from South Winooski Ave. as the construction gang were completing the construction of the concrete base near South Union Street. Note gutter forms in place ready to receive the concrete. 2" strips are used for the forms to allow for the 2" Asphalt pavement which will be constructed on the concrete base. Seen on the right in the background is College Street Congregational Church.
