Undated view (may be 1930s, 1940s) of North Street looking west. Retail stores line both sides of the street. Extreme left is Turner's Drug Store. Bloomberg's Shoe Store is at 191 North St. The tower further along the street on the left is the old Lawrence Barnes School (built 1896, torn down 1957-1958) between Rose and Murray Streets. On the right is Mazel's Department Store at 194 North St.
