August 25, 1930. Caption reads "Asphalt at intersection of North St and Park St 3PM." According to the 1930 city directory there was a First National grocery at 143 No. Champlain as seen here. So this is most likely North St and No. Champlain intersection. Street dept crew spreads asphalt as steam roller smooths it down.
