Collation: Parchment, fol. i (19th c.? paper) + 28 (foliated I-XXIIII, 1-4)+ i (19th c.? paper) ; 1-3⁸ 4⁴ (wants 1 and 2, probably blank) 5² ; catchwords in margins. Layout: Written in 34 long lines; ruled in lead. Decoration: Littera duplex initial and flourished initials (fol. 1r), rubrication, and paragraph marks.
Binding is modern blue cloth, with "Ferraro" stamped in gold on the spine.
Note [Provenance]
Paper flyleaves contain Italian text and a drawing of an anchor with inscriptions and the date, 1872. Also signed "Giuseppe Ferraro 'ho neoteros'(in Greek)", who published the manuscript in 1874. Given to UVM Special Collections by Professor Giuseppe Ferraro.
