Description - Undated view of paved Cherry Street in Burlington looking east toward the First Congregational Church (seen at the far end). May date from the 1930s. On the left is a vertical sign for the New Sherwood Hotel. Automobiles are parked on each side. Buildings seen here 108-114 Cherry (three story four-plex frame with brick veneer), 115-117 Cherry (three story frame). On the right two hanging signs indicate The Salvation Army and Silver Gray Inn. Also on the right painted on the side of the building is the sign Ice Cream Co. and below it Coca-Cola.
