Photographer - McAllister, L. L. (Louis L.), 1877-1963.
Description - Two teen campers stand with a banner identifying Marycrest Girl's Camp, Grand Isle complete with camp logo. A pickup truck is behind them decorated and transformed into a parade float. It represents a ship and carries an explorer, perhaps Samuel de Champlain who carries a flag with fleur de lis. He is accompanied by two "Native Americans" with canoe paddles. The date July 4,'60 appears on the side of the "ship."
