1930 photo of the University of Vermont R.O.T.C. Infantry Battalion Band standing in front of the Ira Allen Chapel on the UVM campus. Joseph F. Lechnyr (d. 1959), longtime director of music ensembles in Burlington and Middlebury, is conductor. Mc2 seen in lower right corner indicating the photographer's numbering system. Photo was also numbered No.2 and available for sale for 50 cents.
