This film is one of three produced In the 1940's by Robert M. Carter and the University of Vermont Agricultural Expriment Station as part of a study of hay harvesting techniques and costs in Vermont. This film documents use of the one-man pick-up baler. Preservation and digitization of this film was made possible through a grant from the National Film Preservation Foundation.
